One of the problems I face is that I try to do too many things at a time. I try to speak, sell assessments, sell consulting services, write my book, volunteer, do some side jobs to bring in cash... and who knows what else.
I'll focus from now on exclusively on speaking, and at the events I'll give out some info on my assessments and consulting (all related to my speaking topics). [I'll still spend every second day exclusively on finishing my book - I must finish it before July]

- I'll try to barter with three cities' around me for membership in the chamber of commerce
- I'll advertise in their newsletter
- flyers
- approach groups
- present popular topics, such as my conflict management, eliminating barriers to performance, DiSC for parents and educators; etc.
- buy lists of seminar "goers" and mail out a professional looking seminar promotion
- follow Paul Karasik's method, described in his book
